This energy company aimed to reduce systems’ infrastructure complexity, risk, and cost. They needed to implement a fully integrated suite of products to deliver timely and accurate information to key stakeholders. The goal was to turn payables into strategic assets, create a centralized and strategic Supply Chain, and enhance customer experience with automated and integrated time management, entry, and reporting.
Solution
We provided change management leadership and execution to create a simplified, integrated, efficient, and flexible enterprise platform. Implemented systems included Accounting (S/4HANA), Time Keeping and Payroll (SuccessFactors/Payroll), Consolidation (FCCS), Financial Planning (EPBCS), and Supply Chain (Ariba). We developed a custom change approach to educate, train, and communicate with all stakeholders, and assisted in creating in-house super-users and experts through learning needs assessment and training strategy.
Outcome
We achieved unprecedented user adoption after end-user training and the HyperCare period. The program became a model for change for subsequent strategic initiatives at the company. Survey data showed high levels of employee engagement, job satisfaction, and a greater understanding of overall processes and individual roles within them.
